Songs marked "*" are missing, mic plug got pulled out of jack. From this far back and sitting off center the Audio was a little swishy, their wasn't much wind but the High Frequencies and over all dynamics would seem to come and go, the person sitting next to me commented to that effect. Ron's Rush RoIO Review
(Audio - 7)
This comes to us from Dane, a brand new Rush trader I hooked up with in a Grateful Dead trading fourm (of all places). He wanted to offer something up as his entrance to the Rush trading world, and he's done so with a bang, giving us a copy of the Kansas show he taped -- also his first Rush concert.
Unfortunately, his mic cables got yanked for part of the second set, and the wind was really conspiring against him all night. It's a shame too, because when the wind lets up, this recording has more up-front, in-your-face presence than any of the Nashville recordings. But those moments are fleeting, and the wind makes for a high end that's all over the place. For that reason, I give this a "B+" as opposed to the "A" it would otherwise receive.
Note that if you're using 80-min discs, you can burn the files for Disc 1 and Disc 2 on one CDR. Of course the artwork won't match then and you won't be able to listen to the show, but.......
I'm uploading to Greg now, so look for this on the Rush 0212 server. I've also got 3 slots open on the DC++ hub, so if you want to grab it there, you'll get good transfer rates. But if you get it from me, please share with at least 2 others on the hub.

A nice sounding show. Better than some, not as good as others, but certainly worth owning. One can't help but wonder why this is a 3 disc show when the trio of tracks on disc two would have easily fit on disc one. (2005-01-28)
