The Digital Dan
   (Audio - 9.5)

This is a matrix of 3 different sources. The first is a DAT audience source that was kind of hollow sounding and had a strange "slap back" reverberation perhaps because the taper was on the side of the stage near the speaker stack. The second source was a DAT scanner that starts about midway through The Big Money to the end of the first set. The third source was a DAT ALD source that starts with Freewill and goes through the end of the show. The scanner/ald help to give the audience source a tighter focus and the audience source gives the scanner/ald sources the correct measure of high end and low end sound. All in all the sound is very clean and clear with all the instruments well resolved. Again, the louder this show is played the better it sounds, and it is safe for stereo's with subwoofers as it was mixed on a system with a 15" high output subwoofer. Special thanks to Bill and Nelson for the sources used in this production. As with all Digital Reproductions releases, this is for free trade or blank media trade only.
