The Digital Dan
   (Audio - 8)

This is a complete version of this show and from a different source than my previous production, Anthem of Cleveland. This is taken directly from a near mint condition LP (special thanks to the Grande Kielbasa for the source). The sound is a lot brighter and has much more depth. Not to mention it is from a much lower generation source. If you are a fan of early Rush, then you will like to have this recording. Part of the WMMS Concert Series. As with all Digital Reproductions recordings, it's only available via free trade and never for sale. Just visit the trading links section to find people that will gladly trade this recording for free.    (2000-07-12)

Ron's Rush RoIO Review

This show comes from a few months after the release of FBN. The performance is what you might expect from this era, but it is special for a few reasons. First, it contains full performances of both "Beneath, Between & Behind" and "Fly By Night." Second, it captures the band in a period when they were using a very raw, stripped-down sound. This was originally an FM broadcast, as can be discerned from the DJ break halfway through. For the time, this is actually an amazing recording. The tape sounds as though it came from a soundboard feed. Overall though, a nice little show.    (1999-04-01)

This seems like a definite upgrade over "Can't Fight It". But both were riding an 8 rating, so I thought I'd help out! I love the Fly By Night shows. I wish there were more.   (2005-06-29)

I was pleasantly surprised with this recording! I suggest you pick this one up if you're a fan of the Fly By Night era!   (2005-10-02)

This is a really great recording. The sound is full, bright, and clear, you can hear everything that is going on with Geddy, Alex, and Neil. Full versions of "Beneath, Below, Between" "Fly By Night" and "Anthem" are really great, for such an amazing source. I highly recommend this.   (2008-11-17)
