OK Folks, it has finally come, the last show that Rush played at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto ever!! on DVD! with a 1st generation video married with the soundboard version of the show. This is a show for Rush fans to enjoy for many, many years to come.

The DVD audio and video are bang on and is very, very enjoyable to watch. The video starts out with a bunch of obstructions, due to the fact the people in front of the taper were not cooperative and thanks to a free set of seats one section over, about 4 songs in the view gets much better! The taper used a "mono-pod" and keeps the picture for the most part very steady and tries to feature the "artist of the moment", either Neil, Alex or Geddy.

The very interesting part of the DVD and the 1st gen video for that manner is that the final song, YYZ was shot from another angle, and since the person that supplied the 1st gen video cannot answer why that is, it will remain a mystery until?

Other highlights of this release is the stunning artwork, well, at least for native Toronto fans and/or people that have visited the Gardens over the years to see shows, no matter what band they were, it was a truly unique venue!!, gives one a shiver down the spine when you look at the artwork, awesome job Duely!!! Indexing on the DVD is perfect and the intro to both discs is stunning, just wish the band would release something as interesting as this!

Ok folks, this is one NOT TO MISS!!! Beg, borrow or do what you have to do, this will be one that give "DEM BONES" a run for the money, well, for now, and one will want to have in your collection.

It's no big secret that I'm not a video fanatic, but this one was a nice one to watch after 30 minutes of so. The taper gets situated with his camera/neighboring crowd and does a fine job taping/filming a great show.? Most of the soundtrack came from Animated boot and is a nice SBD.
