The Digital Dan
   (Audio - 7)

Taken from a digital clone, an fairly average recording so far from this tour. The original master had excessive amounts of bass, a common problem with the house mixes during the outdoor phase of the tour. Since the recording is from the lawn, it presents some "unique" anomalies to the recording. It sounds like it was recorded during happy hour at the local pub. You get a lot of people talking around the taper in casual conversation. That is until "La Villa Strangiato" when two people very close to the mic engage in a conversation about Hockey that pretty much renders the song background music to the conversation. There is also a one minute cut right before Alex starts into his "sequence". Parts of the recording are nice and clear with some distance to the midrange like Geddy's vocals. Other sections, thankfully far less in duration, just lack fidelity. Hence this show really is a split grade. But for the most part it is a nice show to listen to if you are a completist or attended the show and want a souvenir. Thanks to Paul M. for supplying the source. As with all Digital Reproductions releases, this is for free trade only and not to be bought, sold, or distributed for profit under any circumstances. LeeGeddy
   (Audio - 7)

A decent sounding show (VG+ at best), with a "thud" in the bass drums and low bass lines.? Sounds strangely like a very small club setting from the recording and not an outdoor amphitheatre.? Alex's guitar can be heard and Geddy's voice, but the overall mix of the recording is unclear and muddy and sometimes difficult to separate into parts.? The audience around the taper is picked up the mics quite loudly.
