The Digital Dan
   (Audio - 7.5)

This show was made famous by the Prism release "Darkness and Light" from a few years ago. This goes a little bit further and offers one more track to the soundboard, namely "YYZ". So as much of the soundboard that is available is on the second cdr. The first cdr contains the dat master audience versions of the songs missing to complete a full concert. But keeping the audience and soundboard parts of the show on separate cdr's, we've made it easier for those of you that want to play the soundboard portion straight through without an audience sourced material. We included the audience material for those of you that would like a full show. The audience material is actually pretty decent sounding, getting knocked down in quality for the low levels for Geddy's vocals. But considering Geddy has a bad cold on this night, it is a bit of a blessing in disguise. As with all Digital Reproductions releases, this is available for free trade only. Do not sell or purchase this recording as it can be obtained freely, visit the DRE Newsgroup. Please keep the spirit of trading alive by not allowing lowlifes to profit off of Rush!

Ron's Rush RoIO Review
   (Audio - 7.5)

Definitely one of the more unique bootlegs, this show features a mixture of audience and soundboard. Until recently, only the last 2/3 of the show was available as a soundboard release. So as to have a whole show, DR added in a 1st gen DAT audience source. This stellar Counterparts performance is marred by only one small problem -- Geddy is losing his voice throughout this show! You can really hear him struggle on some of the older songs, especially Limelight. It got so bad that they cut Force Ten and cancelled the show in Hampton the next day. (The only thing that really sucks about this is that they never made up the date). The special thing about this show is the way Geddy gives his all to compensate for the illness. The sound quality on this show is phenomenal. It?s very reminiscent of the Critical Mass and Animated shows. It definitely sounds like a soundboard feed. The mix is crisp and clear, and needs no EQ to sound good.
