What is it with guys swaying side to side during shows? Same thing at the Springsteen show from a few months back. It was like standing next to a metronome. . .
Anyway, standard set from the fellows from the north. Great energy for a bunch of geezers. I loved Geddy's henhouse. It was making me hungry actually. Unfortunately AL's arm wasn't strong enough to reach our section with the Henhouse t-shirts they threw into the crowd during the encore. . . Moron factor was moderate. A wooo-ing chick to my right, and the swaying guys to my left. It kinda jammed the sound from time to time as the one dude was pretty tall. That's what I get for not having a team of blockers.
Another one for the archive. My first Rush recording since the Meadowlands 9/29/84. Whoa. . . Enjoy!
FOH was kinda muddy at times, but it comes across quite nicely here. No tinkering needed IMHO. I think the DPAs capture the sound as it is, and altering the audio is detrimental. If inclined, however, please contact me before editing, remastering, etc if you intend to post your creation. Thanks for the consideration.
I did not include a fade to split discs 2 and 3. (2008-07-12)
Split to your liking.
Splitting after Hope is about 66 mins (my suggested split)
Splitting after Spirit of Radio is about 71 mins
Splitting after 2112 is about 77 mins
