Release Notes

Hello! Here is a new series from my collection. After the Master Series, here is the Special Series. Out of my 6,000+ shows and radio broadcasts, I have many concerts that were special for some reasons: the setlist, the musicians, the venue or unexpected events. These are the ones I'd like to propose you. Most of these come from my cassettes collection, so they will be released at a slower pace than my Master Series! But you won't be disappointed! I will try to gather the most unusual things I have in my collection and, as always, your feedback and comments will be my reward for all the work involved in this project.

Lineage: Sony DAT > master DAT > 1st generation tape > Aiwa Tape Deck AD-WX828 > Audigy Soundblaster > HD > SoundForge 7.0 > CD Wave >FLAC Frontend (level 6)

I am very surprised I haven't seeded this one before. Actually it is a great show with an excellent sound quality. This comes straight from the master DAT that was recorded by a good friend in Germany, where tens of italians went to see Rush. You have to remember that Rush played in my country for the very first time in 2004! I have fond memories of Roll the Bones, which is one of my favourite Rush albums. This one was taped on DAT (same guy who did the ABWH show I seeded some time ago) and then transferred one month later to analog tapes which are the source for this seed. the sound is crystal clear. I believe that the same recording has been used for a boot cd, but this one has no interruptions and it's a first generation copy, so I guess it's an upgrade. Enjoy, as always...
