Producer's Notes
   (Audio - 9.5, Video - 10)

Video encoded from the 3-cam digital master mixdown tapes, and audio synced from the DAT audio from the BBP release.

This was released as a 3-DVD set to maximize video quality and preserve the audio in the uncompressed pure PCM format.

This is one awesome DVD, much better than the Project R30 TN show. Three cams are constantly switching between Alex, Geddy, and Neil to get the best angle. The camera men did a great job of catching the guys at just the right moments, the only problem is that the right cam is slighty blurry. Sound quality is excellent, you feel like you are right there in the front row getting blasted. Overall, this is one of the best DVDs I have seen of the band, next to the official Rush in Rio. Highly recommended.   (2005-01-19)

There was a good amount of hype surrounding the release of this show. 3 video sources, separate DAT source and to top all off - an Applejack release. I am very happy to say that it has surpassed the hype! What an incredible PURE audience video boot. All 3 cameras got great footage and the mix also got great close-ups, full stage shots and the wonderful edit job also fixed any kind of heads or obstacles getting in the way. Some of the footage is a little shakey, but its very rare and not a distraction at all. I've watched this show many times over and am still amazed by it. Its probably the best pure audience video bootleg out there for just about anyone. I know that is an extremely bold statement, but I can't imagine something that can top the capture and performance of this boot. The BBP audio is equally as good. Its got great punchy bass and the audio is very clear and upfront. What more could you ask for? Big thanks to all involved!!    (2005-01-20)

This DVD is a must have for any Rush fan. Bravo to all of the people involved with putting this production together!!! This is about as close to a professional job as one could expect. Audio is clear and full, especially Neil's drums which sound superb throughout the whole show. The use of 3 cams is what makes this show stand out from all other shows. The creators took great care to add every detail including the opening video footage of Radio City from outside the venue, interactive menus, etc. The show itself is fantastic and contains special moments including Alex's rant on Paris Hilton during La Villa Strangiato and a funny interaction between Alex and Neil during the break to Xanadu. I was not at this show but did attend the second night which was equally as good!   (2005-01-27)

This appeared in my mailbox the other day as a surprise from a fellow friendly trader. I put in disc 3 and was totally blown away at how good this really is. The production is fantastic and the camera seems to be on the right guy at the right time most of the show. The audio is excellent and balanced nicely. The performance is the best part of the package. As much fun as I have ever seen those guys having. This is as good or better than even the pro shots and a must have show! A+ is for AppleJack.    (2005-02-11)

What makes this one so different from other bootlegs is that it has a strong identity given not for the well designed menus but by the way images were shot and edited. When you watch to this video you really have the feeling that what you're watching is the result of a extensive production that was really commited on showing you the best angle for every instant of the performance. Even if you take account that there were "only" 3 cams rolling. More than a cleaner image and audio, this commitment takes this bootleg to another level. Congratulations and thank you very much to everyone involved on the production of this bootleg.   (2005-02-08)

This recording is just breath taking. I showed Disk 2 to a friend the other day and he refused to believe it was a bootleg. Better than RiRio in my opinion. Neil gets alot of attention in this one which is great. Top shelf.    (2005-05-23)

This is about as good as it gets. The audio is spectacular, everything is nicely mixed. The video is superb. AJ and BBP have produced a true masterpiece. If this were an official release, I'd be first in line to buy this baby.   (2007-01-25)
