Producers Notes:

Even though this date isn?t on most confirmed ?Rush played this date? lists, it was recently confirmed by someone that was "in the know" and thus I feel confident in listing it as such. Alas at this time we only have the audio rip. Hopefully at some point in the future, the video itself will be found and will be able to be traded freely. Until that date comes though, we will have to be happy with the audio portion. The guitar and vocals are very up front in the mix with the percussion a little low perhaps but considering the age of the show and whatever long strange trip that it must have taken to get to Brazil, I?m perfectly happy to have it as is. Speaking of the long strange trip, a special thank you must go out to our friends in South America. Since Rush played in Brazil on the Vapor Trails tour, their popularity has spread and they are making more and more fans everyday across the world.

As always, a thank you goes out to Daneck for the artwork. Sharing the music is what it?s all about!

This recording was produced by fans, for fans and is never to be sold. If you like this recording, support the artists and purchase their official releases! As is the Simple Man norm, this show is available on Direct Connect and will be traded freely to all comers.

Power Windows

This date and venue is confirmed by a recent ticket scan and news clipping I recently received, listing a triple bill with Rush and Montrose opening for Foghat.    (2005-02-09)

I think the mix is a little wrong for part of Bastille Day, but it gets adjusted quickly and the rest of the show sounds terrific!   (2005-02-13)

Currently watching the dvd, and I think the dvd has a much better audio than this release.. I'll try to upload some vid caps.   (2005-02-20)

Tragedy 32
   (Audio - 9)

Great, great audio and video. Video is very clean and clear for so old. A genuine piece of history. And, c'mon, Lakeside Park? How can you not have that in your library? Classic early Geddy vocals.   (2006-04-06)

   (Audio - 8)

This is great early footage. Notice the watermarks. They are same watermarks that appear in the only available footage of the original lineup of Boston, from East Rutherford in 1979. The same company owns the rights to this footage as well, and this infringes on copyright agreements. So be careful folks!   (2007-09-22)

The watermarks are there but you get used to them after a little time. Sometimes dark and filmed B/W but definately great to see something this early in their career.   (2007-10-14)

   (Audio - 9)

Although the bass and drums are a little low in this mix, the overall sound quality is quite exceptional. Geddy's vocals are the real highlight on this release, possibly the best he's ever sounded in his early years! Check out Presentation from 2112. This is really a must-have for Rush fans.   (2008-05-06)

   (Audio - 9.5)

This is nothing short of excellence. The sound in "Bastille Day" is a little iffy, but it is quickly corrected. The sound is incredible, I thought this was an official release (really!) Geddy Sounds particularly great on that night, you never really hear him wail like that anymore. The guitar is really loud, the drums are good, and up-front. The bass is noticable, but not like "wow, that bass is loud" but its still there. Overall, and incredible show, a must have for anyone who likes great versions of 2112, and All the Worlds a Stage tours.   (2008-11-20)
