Ron's Rush RoIO Review

This show comes from the European leg of the ESL tour. It?s pretty standard fare for this tour -- no real surprises here. The pre-release Subdivisions does sound a bit tighter here than on other shows, and Geddy gets a chance to practice his Dutch with the crowd. The rarity of this show makes it desirable to have. The sound on this one definitely won?t make you forget other MP and ESL shows. The instruments are all audible, the EQ is OK, and there is no excessive distortion. The main problem is that the audio frequencies are all compressed towards the middle range. YYZ is cut where the tape is flipped, and there are minor cuts in Tom Sawyer and By-Tor. Still, an enjoyable show.   (1999-04-01)
