The Digital Dan
   (Audio - 7.5)

This is indeed a couple of great short concerts. I've tried for a long time to locate the full Providence show without much luck. So I've taken what does exist and added some rare filler material from the AFtK tour. Makes for a very nice collection of "Short Takes". As with all Digital Reproductions recordings, it's only available via free trade and never for sale. Just visit the trading links section to find people that will gladly trade this recording for free.    (2000-03-20)

A great melding of two great shows into one. The Providence performance is excellent, but not as quite as good as the Chicago show. This one lacks the overall depth just slightly. Filler from AFTK (San Diego) is very good indeed. For those of you who are interested in the cover art, the front picture is from a 3"x5" European Tour post card that just happened to have the two AFTK/MP designs on it.    (2000-03-20)

Ron's Rush RoIO Review

Another rare MP show, and a great one at that! The boys are having fun this night, and it shows. This set has an impromptu performance of "Wipe Out" prior to "Limelight," and also features Geddy emphasizing the New York verse of "The Camera Eye," much to the crowd?s delight. Sound quality is not as good as the Chicago show, but still pretty darn good. All the instruments are well resolved, with a good EQ. There is a bit of distortion, but this is still a great show! Highly recommended.

This is one of those very rare gems that makes you glad to be a Rush collector. The sound on this one is phenomenal for the age of this tape. Unfortunately, only the fist 30 minutes is captured. About halfway through Xanadu, the sound speeds up dramatically, as if the tape got tangled up around the capstan of the recorder. (Hey taper ? didn?t you bring extra tapes?!?!?!) Nonetheless, this is one you definitely want to get your hands on.    (1999-04-01)
