Ron's Rush RoIO Review

This is simply the sound track from the "Exit Stage Left" video. A fairly predictable set list here, with unfortunately no real rarities. Since this is a video feed, it naturally sounds great. The EQ is a bit trebly, but this is easily compensated for. Neil?s voice-overs are present on "Tom Sawyer" and "Red Barchetta," but have somehow been edited out of "Xanadu" with no ill effects.    (1999-04-01)

Rush Trading Register

This cd is from the Super Groups Presents: " Rush Live" series. It contains the same audio versions as the "Exit Stage Left" video. However, it must be noted that this is not the same audio as the cd "Exit Stage Left". Some cd flaws are noted on this recording such as, static which is possibly due to pressing to vinyl and then to cd. Mistakes on cd Jacket include wrong date., May `81, labels the Trees and Xanadu as two individual songs yet does not index them apart, labels In The End/ In The Mood as one track yet In The End is a separate track and In The Mood/Grand Finale is another. The pictures used on the inside jacket are taken from the Lp sleeve of "A Farewell To Kings" Overall, this cd is worth it. You get more high quality versions from the "Moving Pictures" tour set list with all the convince of not hauling around your VCR to listen to them.    (1999-04-01)

Brent's Bootlegs

This is the soundtrack from the Exit Stage Left video. It is just like the bootleg "Red Barchetta" except this bootleg did not take out any of the commentary between songs. The sound quality is pretty good ... since it's taken right from the video. You might also want to consider "Careful with that Axe, Alex" which has this same show (but with commentary deleted) plus 5 more songs from the Grace Under Pressure video.   (1999-04-01)
