Brent's Bootlegs
A very fine sounding audience recording from the Grace Under Pressure Tour. You get all the great songs from Grace Under Pressure that you never get to hear played live anymore plus you get bonus tracks of pre release versions of 3 GuP songs. And look at that fear trilogy all tracked together... Even the show from 77 sounds good. This is definitely a boot that should be part of your collection. (1999-04-01)
Bill Girton (Audio - 8)
An excellent audience recording. Everything comes through nice and clear. It is a complete Grace Under Pressure show and captures a very good performance by the band. There is an extended jam at the end of Red Lenses that will simply knock you on your ass. I highly recommend this show. The disk also has some additional filler. (1999-04-01)
Ben's Notes (Audio - 8)
One of the few Prism releases that doesn't suck! This is a very listenable and enjoyable show from early in the GuP tour. (which is rare being that it isn't just a copy of the soundtrack to the Montreal video!) All the instruments come across clearly, Geddy's vocals are present the bass isn't lost or overpowering, Alex's playing is in there, the drums aren't muddy and you can hear the highs! (hi-hats, splash cymbals, ride, etc) This is definitely the show to find from this tour as there aren't many available. About the only thing that DOES suck about it is the cover?!?! Prism really went out of it's way to produce the ugliest cover art know to man! (but don't let that stop you from owning it) (1999-04-01)
Ron's Rush RoIO Review (Audio - 8)
For my money, this is the best-sounding GUP show out there. It is an audience source, but sounds so good, you will think you are listening to an official release. The first version of kid Gloves comes from 9/17/84. The pre-release tracks are from 9/21/83.? The last three tracks are from Montreal 12/--/77. (1999-04-01)
