Ron's Rush RoIO Review

This is a remastered version of "Run From The Fans," which corrects the tape speed problem.    (1999-04-01)

Brent's Bootlegs
   (Audio - 9)

This CD is a remake of a bootleg entitled Run From The Fans. It is widely known that the original runs about 5% slow. This re-release speeds it up to normal. This is really an excellent sounding bootleg.    (1999-04-01)

Northern Reflections
   (Audio - 10)

RUN FASTER is definitely one of the best sounding Rush soundboard releases. It is too bad the whole show is not available. The highlight is an excellent live version of GHOST OF A CHANCE.    (2001-06-24)

Bill Girton
   (Audio - 10)

Scarred records has fixed the speed problem with their release titled Run Faster. There is NO sound loss and the correction of the speed problem makes this one of the best sounding recordings available. In the transfer they did lose a few seconds of Geddy talking, so the two titles are not completely identical.    (2001-06-24)

Nate Hertzog
   (Audio - 10)

Possibly the best sounding bootleg out there. This is one of my favorites. I think this sounds even better than Different Stages. The only beef I have with this is that it's not long enough. Still, it has Ghost of a Chance and Superconductor on it, and having great sounding versions of these songs makes this worth it without a doubt.   (2001-06-24)
