Ron's Rush RoIO Review

This is a very rare show. It?s only the second night of the tour, and Geddy asks the crowd to "forgive us if something screws up." In spite of this, there are very few technical difficulties. Alex suffers string breakage in Limelight, and one or two tape samples are slightly off, but other than that, the show is great. Geddy is in fine voice tonight, and even the new songs sound very tight. Dreamline does feature a very different extended solo. The sound is very, very good. It?s an extremely clear tape, and only a slight lack of fidelity prevents a higher grade. Still, it?s one of the better first leg RTB tapes. For some reason, Ghost of a Chance is missing, and it?s not clear whether they played it this night.    (1999-04-01)
