These are not the best sounding Presto shows out there (The Omni and Alpine Valley are the best AUD shows to date), but what is captured on tape is quite nice and this project turned out to be a nice little Box Set. Enjoy, folks. Many thanks to Jeff T. for providing both the source tape and the ticket scans!!! (2002-03-24)
The Digital Dan (Audio - 8)
A couple of great low gen audience recording from their two night stay at the Worcester Centrum. Given that the Centrum is an IHL Hockey arena (aka concrete monstrosity) the sound is quite good for both shows. They tend to get a bright sounding, a combination of the sound Rush had on that tour and the acoustics of an infinitely reflecting concrete building. The drums sound fantastic, especially during the Rhythm Method. The first night is missing the Pass and Closer to the Heart. Both nights have a small edit in War Paint, most likely due to a tape flip. The second night has also a luckier audience surrounding the tapers, they are quieter on the second night. Both shows were speed corrected and no noise reduction was used. This release is intended to be 4cdr box set release. As with previous DR box set releases, they are extremely easy to assemble. In this case, just buy a 4 cdr jewel case, print the artwork, and assemble. The title of this release is also a pun if you hadn't already noticed. As with all Digital Reproductions releases, this is available for free trade only. This is not to be sold or purchased. (2002-03-24)
