The Digital Dan
   (Audio - 7)

This is another great show from the Hold Your Fire tour. The instruments sound clean and crisp including all the small details. It is a bit compressed a sound stage, but still excellent for an audience recording. The drums sound really good on this recording and Alex is perfect in the mix. There is one big drawback to this show, the source had most of "YYZ / Drum Solo" missing. Some how nearly 4:30 of it is completely missing! Other than that it is an excellent sounding recording from this tour, at least as good as the Omaha show though not quite that of the Little Rock show. Alex is again having fun during 2112 with the lyrics by adding comments to nearly every line Geddy sings. You can't go wrong with this show. As with all Digital Reproductions recordings, it's only available via free trade and never for sale. Just visit the trading links section to find people that will gladly trade this recording for free.   (1999-04-01)
