Taper's Notes

Recorded in section RIGHT, row D, 4th row in front of Geddy.? This was a great show, and the last show before my break from August to October for seeing Rush. After the tremendously long drive to the 8/1 show the day before (from FL no less!), this was a bit more relaxing for me. It was also great to witness this show with 2 of the 3 at Sirius Records!

As for the sound quality on the show recording, all I can say is WOWZERS!!!!! It blew me away the first time I heard it and still blows me away after hearing it many times!

The title is a bit of a joke on my LONG road trip. Just a day before this show I was hauling a$$ right by this same place, I actually stopped off the same exit to get gas on 8/1 as my hotel would be on 8/2! After driving through Maryland Heights on 8/1, driving all the way across MO into Kansas, then the next morning driving all the way BACK again it seemed like "the time is now again" all over again.

Of course, even after all the driving for this trip, it was well worth it for me to get this recording. I'd like to thank Joe at Sirius for mastering this show from my DAT and both him and Curtis for being at the show to see it with me. And thanks once again to Sirius Records for releasing it. Enjoy!    (2003-03-30)

Wow! There seems to be a lot of great sounding audience shows with the advent of great digital recording devices - but this one seems to stand out IMHO. All the instruments are clear and upfront, and has a great 'stereo' feel (Fiddler's Green seems a bit 'cramped' in comparison - and that show is excellent as well). The highs are crisp (no phasing at all) and the lows are there if you crank them! Alex and Neil sit strong in the mix overall, with Geddy a very close 3rd. Out of about 48 shows I have from this tour, I always come back to this one. I love the fact it fits on 2 CDs as well. If you only get 1 show from this tour, you can't go wrong - and if you have a ton of shows this one will certainly rise to the top of your collection. Great job in recording and mastering it - thank you!   (2005-04-13)
