Taper's Notes
   (Audio - 8)

Well, I've had extremely good luck taping on this tour, which means more are coming shortly. This show is very special as its my bro's return to the RUSH scene from some 10 years away. He is the one you can hear making a few comments, laughing and the "clapper". Sorry but I couldn't blame him. I did have him positioned 2 seats over but my nephew moved so he could cut loose too (being next to me, he didn't want to disrupt) so it shifted everyone. Its not that bad actually. I'm the one talking during the stooges intro. I couldn't help myself even though it was my 4th show. Well, its a typical Rush show in Pgh, some major blunders occur, especially from Neil, which is surprising. I had about 10-12th row seats, dead center in front of Neil, so the sound is very good. In your face. EX- I'd say but of course I'm biased being its MINE. This is fair rating though I think. Highlights for me included the awesome encore and it made up for the Fups. The Pass, OLV, Resist and the La Villa rant was cool, about a famous place in the burgh and GOBS and SUZI Q's. Some other idiots where making noises during Resist but not too bad (mocking Geddy). The crowd was ok overall around me. We do get a great "alright Geddy" at the spot in YYZ (same as ESL). I didn't hear him at the show but its there. Cool. So, enjoy everyone. This one will be weeded and vined most likely as I have SHN masters. I'm not sure about a tree but will do a bunch of B&Ps and need some current trades so they will be coming. Someone should be posting to the FTP and related. Look out this weekend. ninjadave.    (2002-11-15)
