The Digital Dan
   (Audio - 8)

Another great RtB show. The audience is pretty respectful of the taper giving this show a very clean sounding presentation of the band on this night. The instruments are well captured and balanced. The source sounds even better when played loud. Even sounds good on my reference stereo system, something that very few recordings can do. Of course, for some strange reason, this source is missing "The Rhythm Method". Actually it had a few notes of it, but for the continuity of the recording, I just removed the small bit of it and transitioned it right into Closer to the Heart. I think this is a show that many Rush fans will like to listen to, one of the better first leg shows out there and far more enjoyable and energetic than the pristine but bland Oakland soundboard, IMHO. As with all Digital Reproductions releases, this show is available by free trade only. Please keep the spirit of trading alive by not buying and selling this show!    (2001-09-27)
