The Digital Dan
   (Audio - 6.5)

This is another one of those very rare sources. It seems almost unfathomable that Rush ever played Boise, Idaho, but here it is. Kind of an out of the way location for Rush. The sound quality is part VG and part VG+. I would suspect that this show was taped on C60's and the A sides sounded better than the B sides. Anyway, there are a couple of significant cuts on the second half of the show. "Distant Early Warning" and "Closer to the Heart" are missing and the transition between "Red Sector A" and "Afterimage" cut some of both songs. Essentially those are the only noticeable edits on the show. Not one of the better sounding GUP shows, but a nice rare show nonetheless. The shows title is taken from the longest running joke on the Digital Rush Experience Newsgroup, a sort of tribute to its members Once again, many thanks to Ron for helping to get this show out to other Rush fans.   (2001-06-23)
